   June 19-21, 2015  "Velcro Sculpture Workshop"
     
	 During SALON DE L’ASTRONAUTIQUE DE PLAISANCE at Les Halles, in Brussels, Belgium
     Velcro Sculptures will be created by many people at the museum, Les Halles. 
 
   March 2015  Awarded on Humans In Space Art: Video Challenge, How Will Space, Science and 
               Technology Benefit Humanity?, 3rd Place Live Action, “From Life in Space 
		       to Life on the Earth” Team members: Koki Tanaka, Ayako Ono,  
		       Kento Ichinomiya, Mari Nakashima, and Mashiro Kasuya.

August 2014  Won 1st place, International Inspiration Mars Student Design Contest 
               as a Spacecraft Interior Designer of Team Kanau.
 
   February 10, 2012  Played "Space Musical Instruments - Cosmical Seeds" 
   
     A pair of musical instruments suitable for weightlessness, was selected by the Japan 
     Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to represent the theme of Cultural and Artistic 
	 Utilization of the International Space Station (ISS/Kibo).
     A metal artist, So Negishi and Ayako Ono developped the instruments together since 2009. 
	 The astronaut played the instruments with music many times for 15 minutes and improved 
	 his skills, beyond the procedure manual.

INTRODUCTION

Specializations: Space Psychiatry, Space Medicine and Space Art.

- Ph.D. in Behavioral Science. 
  - Coordinator and Manager of Education Program, Japan Mars Society.
  - Working for the video archive of Osaka City University's lab in Osaka, Japan.
     
    Studying in the field of space psychiatry, specializing in 
    behavioral medicine for stress coping on the brain science.

In 2007, she was an International Space University student during 
  Summer Session Programme 07 and decided to study effects of artistic
  elements in outer space habitats.

She participated in the Japanese Government Overseas Study Programme
  for Artists by September 2006 for one year, and lived and worked in
  Paris and New York. Through the stay in Paris, she got the chance to 
  become the first artist in residence at European Space Agency in the
  Netherlands, and sometimes visited there to learn about human space 
  flight, the environments of microgravity experiments, and Space Art 
  in Europe.
